What Is PoE+?

PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus) allows a network cable to carry both data and electrical power to a device.

For example, running one Ethernet cable for data and another cable for power, a PoE device can receive both through the same network cable connected to one of the TSW100’s PoE+ ports.

The TSW100 supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at with up to 30 W available per PoE port.

What Is an Unmanaged Switch?
